For the staff and management team all of our business training options have an education based version.

Our consultants have a wide range of experience the education field. This includes:

  • Primary
  • Secondary
  • Special Needs
  • Further Education
  • Higher Education
  • Adult learning

At Applied Shapes we have a simple premise: deliver what is needed. That means our education and business courses and consultancy are designed to meet the real needs of our customers and not one size fits all. If you come to us for help we will first ask some very simply questions to find out what you want us to do. If we feel you would be better off going to another business or agency than us we will tell you. We never take on any projects that we are not fully committed to.

    Business Training

Business Training and Culture Change services are now offered through our brand Steve Cottee Consulting

Many companies offer team building, confidence building and other such courses. We do this but there is a strict policy that your company must allow all the staff who attend to implement what they cover and help shape and improve productivity, efficiency and wellbeing.

We have a range of courses that fit and enhance ethical business practices and boost performance:

Team building - looking at how the team interact and how much they understand each other's roles. This can be combined with an archery taster session for a competition with a twist.

Middle management - the pit falls that you don't get told about managing people, projects and ensuring deadlines are met.

Management mentoring - independent support, development and training for managers taking on new roles and progressing up the ranks of the company.

Dealing with challenging behaviour - whether it is colleagues or customers, shop floor or at the negotiation table, there are simple rules to ensure that you do not enter conflict and the correct resolution is met.

Customer service - this can be for retail companies or indeed any business, knowing how to keep clients on side without compromising the business' ethics.
